🇬🇧 Dante Daniel Hartl in cooperation with Jiřička-Coufal, the oldest art glasswork studio in Prague, presents a stained glass window with a surprisingly intimate theme. The work of robust proportions depicts a faithfully painted ultrasound of a pregnancy that the artist and his then-partner decided to end. The result is an intimate visual statement that works with the elemental themes of the origin and dissolution of life. The motif of the contrast between science and traditional craft, often associated with sacred themes, is also unforgettable. The deliberately austere installation of a monumental artefact on the border between object and spatial installation allows the viewer to perceive the work in its complexity in an undisturbed but intense way.

🇨🇿 Dante Daniel Hartl ve spolupráci s nejstarším pražským uměleckým sklenářstvím Jiřička-Coufal představuje vitráž s překvapivě důvěrným tématem. Dílo o robustních rozměrech zobrazuje věrně přemalovaný ultrazvuk z těhotenství, které se autor s tehdejší partnerkou rozhodli ukončit. Výsledkem je intimní výtvarná výpověď, která pracuje s elementárními tématy vzniku a zániku života. Neopomenutelný je také motiv kontrastru vědy a tradičního řemesla, často spojovaného se sakrálními náměty. Záměrně strohá instalace monumentálního artefaktu na pomezí objektu a prostorové instalace umožňuje divákovi nerušeně avšak intenzivně vnímat dílo ve své komplexnosti.
